Lactic Acid Peels

Similar to glycolic acid peels, lactic acid peels also exfoliate the surface of your skin and fade marks. It's a bit gentler than glycolic acid, so I recommend using lactic acid first when starting out with peels.

Texture wise, lactic acid is thick and sticky while glycolic acid is very liquidy. Lactic acid is also yellowish while glycolic acid peel solutions are clear. Both yield pretty much the same results, though I prefer lactic acid peels because they are less harsh on my skin.

Instructions and precautions for lactic acid peels are the same as the ones for glycolic acid peels, so please consult that section for more information.
